CLASS DETAILS ANNOUNCED FOR THE RACE

This Saturday at Cedar Falls Raceway marks the beginning of what several racers and the track operators hope will be a great new program. The event, that should probably be known as Unpredictable Nationals features a new combination of race classes and vehicles probably never assembled together at one place at one time.

Below are the class details.

STREET BIKE SERIES

Heads-Up Pro-Street, 9.50 Index, .400 Pro-Tree
Heads-Up Super Street, 10.90 Index, .400 Pro-Tree
Street Bike ET Challenge, ET Race, Sportsman Tree
Note: Street Bike ET Challenge class will follow the same rules as the other street bike classes. $30 Entry Fee. See Bike Class Rules

10.5" TIRE DOOR CAR CHALLENGE

10.5" Heads-Up Challenge, 1/8 Mile, .400 Pro-Tree.

OPEN COMP
Open Comp class is designed for any year, make, and model car & truck. Dragsters and roadsters prohibited. Door vehicles only.
The Open Comp class will run on an Open Comp format with a 1-tenth (1/10th) breakout.

Qualifying Information, Ladder Type, & Tree
All Run, NHRA Sportsman Ladder, Pro .500 Tree, Handicap Start.

The class will be qualified by positive reaction time (r/t) closest to “.000” based on a Pro .500 Tree. “.000” is considered perfect. Any negative r/t (-.001, -1.231, etc.) will be placed at the bottom of the qualifying ladder, the more negative the r/t is, the farther down the ladder the run will be placed. For cases in which identical reaction times are made, qualifying position will be based on a first-come first served: the first occurring r/t will be placed #1, the second occurrence of said r/t will be placed #2, and so on. Class will be paired according to qualifying positions, and then advance to eliminations. For more information go to www.mustangcentral.net
